ACE Medical Risk Group has teamed up with Trust Risk Management Services (TRMS) to provide admitted professional and general liability policy, designed to offer insurance protection to individuals and small groups of allied healthcare providers.
Based in Chicago, TRMS operates as a managing general underwriter and administers programs on behalf of insurance organizations offering professional liability, directors & officers, and business office insurance to mental and allied healthcare professionals.
The company has license to operate in all 50 states across the US including, Washington DC, and the US Virgin Islands.
ACE Medical Risk Group executive vice president Caroline Clouser said that the collaboration with TRMS will enable the company to offer its risk management services and products expertise to the medical liability marketplace.
Features of the policy include separate professional and general aggregate limits available for entities, separate professional liability limits available for each allied healthcare provider and the policy does not have a deductible.
Additional important supplemental coverages provided under the policy are licensing board defense, defendant's reimbursement, deposition fees and expenses, assault, medical expense, first aid and damage to property of others.
The policy comes with an option of healthcare consultants' errors and omissions & case management liability coverage.
ACE Medical Risk Group operates as a division of ACE USA, and caters primary and excess medical professional liability for hospitals, miscellaneous healthcare facilities, and managed care errors and omissions coverage.
