Solera Holdings has completed acquisition of 100% of the equity interest of Eziworks, an Australia-based company which operates as Car Quote, for an undisclosed sum.
A body shop management system, Car Quote serves as a central part of the Australian claims workflow and helps insurers to establish a critical communication link with body shops for exchange of collision data.
Solera founder and chairman and chief executive officer Tony Aquila said the purchase demonstrates the company's continued execution on the Leverage element of our Leverage, Diversify and Disrupt strategy.
''This acquisition will accelerate our delivery of an end-to-end claims management platform in Australia, driving value to a market that processes more than 1 million annual collision repair claims," Aquila added.
Car Quote also seamlessly integrates with accounting modules and parts procurement networks to help maximize value for the customers.
