US-based wholesale specialty brokerage Professional Risk Solutions (PRS) has extended its general and product liability coverages offerings as well as insurance solutions for the life sciences industry.
A specialist team led by Henry Gottesman in Baltimore, Maryland, has also been set up by the company to provide access to a wide range of markets as well as expertise in obtaining liability coverage for risks for commercial agents and brokers.
The Baltimore office will serve as the PRS resource for all lines of insurance for companies in the life sciences space which includes manufacturers and distributors of medical devices, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, as well as contract research organizations and consultants.
In addition, the Life Sciences team will provide coverage for both US and foreign clinical trials.
Professional Risk Solutions CEO De'Andre Salter said that Henry Gottesman-led team will complement the PRS portfolio of coverages in D&O, E&O, Cyber Liability, and EPLI.
