Sterling Insurance has expanded its Critical Condition plan offering in 18 additional US states, marking the availability of the new type of insurance to 31 states.
The plan comprises 11 critical illnesses, which includes cancer, stroke, heart attack, paralysis, loss of sight, loss of speech, deafness, benign brain tumor, major organ transplant, severe burns, and kidney failure.
Critical Condition will pay a huge amount directly to the critical illness or critical condition insurance plan insured customer when diagnosed or treated for a covered condition.
Sterling Insurance Product Development vice president Gerald Reilly said, "Sterling's Critical Condition plan is specifically designed to pay for these kinds of expenses, above and beyond what is covered by a major medical plan."
Established in 1958, Sterling Insurance is a unit of Windsor Health Group (WHG) and has executive offices in Atlanta, Georgia with operational centers in Nashville, Tennessee and Bellingham, Washington, US.
